The main building of the LICEO SCIENTIFICO STATALE LEON BATTISTA ALBERTI is on the seafront, near the port, the main railway station and the bus/coach terminal. There are 25 classrooms, laboratories (Computer/ IT, Language, Physics, Chemistry); Art and Audiovisual Rooms; a Gym and a basketball court. The building is all connected to the Internet and has been cabled with European funds. In the other building, near the city Basilica di Bonaria, there are 14 classrooms, Aula Magna, language and IT lab, Art and Physics-Chemistry Rooms, a gym with body-building equipment and a free-climbing wall.

The main focus is on Scientific Subjects (Math, Computer studies, Physics, Natural Sciences, Biology, Astronomy, Earth Science), plus Latin, Italian, English, French, European and world history, Philosophy, Physical Ed., Art and Technical Drawing, Catholic Religion (optional).

For we live on a small Island it is important for us to "open the window to Europe". This project is a very good chance to learn and to share a lot of European knowledge with partners from other countries. We are sure we could gain a lot of new ideas and we can add some interesting phrases from our place.
